We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Food Order Taking Rep to join our team and assist in providing exceptional service to our customers in the Eastern Time Zone of Canada. As a Food Order Taking agent , you will be responsible for efficiently taking and processing food orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

- Flexibility: Able to work on Holidays and weekends.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Order Taking: Receive and process food orders via phone calls, online platforms, or in-person from customers within the Eastern Time Zone of Canada.
- Customer Service: Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing their inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.
- Language Proficiency: Demonstrate fluency in English (and additional languages if applicable), communicating effectively with customers and ensuring clear and concise order-taking conversations.
- Menu Knowledge: Familiarize yourself with our menu offerings, daily specials, and promotions to accurately answer customer questions and make recommendations.
- Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Ensure that all orders are correctly taken, inputted into the system accurately, and sent to the kitchen promptly.
- Time Management: Handle multiple tasks simultaneously while prioritizing tasks to ensure efficient order processing and timely delivery.
- Collaborative Team Player: Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth order flow and efficient customer service.
- Problem Solving: Be resourceful in resolving order-related issues and challenging situations, seeking assistance from supervisors when necessary.
- Upselling: Utilize excellent communication skills to upsell additional products, sides, or beverages to enhance the customer experience.
- Experience: Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in a similar or customer service role is preferred.
- Language Proficiency: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are required. Knowledge of additional languages will be an asset.
- Customer Service Skills: Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service, handle inquiries, and resolve complaints in a courteous and effective manner.
- Adaptability: Capable of working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changing circumstances, and remaining composed during peak hours.
- Tech-savvy: Comfortable using computer systems, order processing software, and various online platforms for order management.
- Availability: Flexibility to work during weekdays, weekends, and public holidays based on shift scheduling.
- Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the Eastern Time Zone region of Canada, its local customs, and popular cuisines will be advantageous.
